Stig Ulfsby says:
description
Källö-Knippla is located between Marstrand and Gothenburg. It is essentially two islands where the sound between them has been partially filled in, making them one island.
It is an old fishing harbor and the buildings are a mix of old and modern houses. The old buildings are located on Knippla south of the harbor, while on Källö there are modern residential houses. On Källö, there are two nice bathing spots a walk north of the harbor, one with smooth rocks and one with a small beach. These are east-facing and shielded from the southwest. There is also a walking trail to the northern end of the island.
In the harbor, there is a café and a kiosk. There is a grocery store and a fishmonger near the harbor.
The harbor has an outer and an inner basin. You are best positioned in the inner basin if there is space. Additionally, there is a third basin north of the breakwater.

Want to know how the wind score works? Then you should read this explanation.
The wind forecasts come from yr.no (Norwegian Meteorological Institute), and was last updated 2 hours and 2 minutes ago (Thursday 12 December 05:26 PM). The next night score shows you the worst hour between 22:00 and 08:00 the next night. We recommend that you check multiple sources for wind forecasts. windy.com is a good website to show larger wind systems.
The safe wind directions for this harbour has been decided by an algorithm, based on how elevated the land around the harbour is. It's mostly correct, but sometimes the underlying data about elevation levels is not good enough to make correct decisions. It's a great help to other if you can validate or adjust the safe wind directions. You can see the data used by the algorithm to decide the safe wind directions by clicking here.
